Suspect arrested in Denver shooting

Police said they were called to a report of a shooting in the Ruby Hill neighborhood Wednesday morning.

DENVER — Police have arrested a suspect after a man was shot and killed in Denver Wednesday morning.

The Denver Police Department said officers were called to a report of a shooting in the 1700 block of West Mosier Place in the Ruby Hill neighborhood around 9:10 a.m.

The victim, 46-year-old Anthony Mingo, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said investigators learned that the incident began as an argument between two people who knew each other. They identified Anthony Huff, 64, as the suspect, and arrested him for investigation of first-degree murder.

It will be up to the Denver District Attorney's Office to decide what charges to file.
