DENVER — No arrests have been made in connection with a shooting that killed a 19-year-old man outside the downtown Denver aquarium last week, the Denver Police Department said Tuesday.
The shooting happened just after 3 p.m. Wednesday outside the aquarium at 700 Water Street. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he died.

Police identified the victim as Dacien Salazar, 19.
Police said they believed the shots were fired from a car, and believed the victim was the intended target of the shooting. No other injuries were reported.
DPD is asking anyone with information that may help the investigation to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or visit metrodenvercrimestoppers.com. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation.
From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
