GOLDEN, Colo. — The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) is looking for two people who left the scene of a crash that injured two cyclists near Golden Saturday afternoon.
CSP said the crash happened just after 1:40 p.m. on Lookout Mountain Road. One cyclist had serious injuries but is expected to survive. The other had minor injuries.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said a third cyclist's bicycle was run over but the rider was not hurt.
According to CSP, the driver and a passenger continued for another mile before getting out of the car and running away. They still have not been found. One of the occupants is believed to be injured.
No information about the people in the car has been released.
