ADAMS COUNTY – A man who did business for Addleman Construction pleaded guilty to theft Tuesday and has agreed to pay $55,650 in restitution to his victims.

Brice Addleman contracted with the victims to build pole barns at their properties, according to the district attorney's office. They paid him $70,000 for his work – but he never finished any of it.

One victim, a 75-year-old man, was out $20,000 for a barn that was never built. Investigators later learned that money was used to settle a dispute with another customer.

Addleman received a four-year deferred sentence, and if he fails to make the restitution payments, he'll be back in court for resentencing.
