DENVER — A tip from the public led to an arrest this week in connection with a homicide in Denver that happened last month, Denver Police said.
Malando Sanders, 53, was arrested Tuesday and is being held for investigation of first-degree murder. He's accused of shooting and killing Marcus Nash, 57, near the intersection of 21st and Champa streets on June 3.
A tip from the community helped lead to the arrest of Sanders, police said. Last month, police released photos of a person of interest in Nash's killing as part of a Crime Stoppers bulletin.
Anyone with information regarding this crime or any other crime can call the Denver Police Department at 720-913-2000 or Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP.
Tipsters can remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward up to $2,000.
