CASTLE ROCK, Colo. — A person is dead after a shooting involving Castle Rock Police Wednesday night.
The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Bilberry Street and Meadows Boulevard, according to Castle Rock Police. That's in the Meadows neighborhood of Castle Rock.
The adult suspect involved in the shooting was killed. No officers were injured in the shooting, police said.
The scene remains active as of 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning. Police said there is no current threat to the community.
