3 seriously injured in crash into Denver Starbucks

A woman was arrested after she crashed into a Starbucks late Saturday night.

DENVER — A woman has been arrested and is facing charges of vehicular assault after she crashed into a Starbucks late Saturday night. 

The Denver Police Department said the woman crashed into a Starbucks near East 17th Avenue and North Broadway around 11:45 p.m. Saturday. That is in downtown Denver near the Brown Palace Hotel.

Three passengers in the vehicle were seriously injured, according to police. It's not clear if the driver who was arrested was also injured.

Denver Police said speed and impairment are suspected as factors in the crash.
