AURORA, Colo. — Police are searching for a stolen Boy Scouts of America trailer in southeast Aurora.
The Aurora Police Department said a trailer, filled with nearly $15,000 worth of equipment and camping gear, was stolen from the parking lot of Eastern Hills Community Church.
The theft of the 2016 White H7H 10-foot trailer occurred around 10:30 p.m. Jan. 6 at the church on East Smoky Hill Road. A suspect driving a white van stole the trailer with everything inside, police said.
The stolen trailer had a sticker on the left of the trailer that read "Boy Scout Pack 1127."
Investigators said the suspect van may be a 2000s-model Ford Econoline/E250/E350 with a flashing light attached to the roof towards the front of the van.
Anyone with information is asked to reach out to Officer Nestor at the Aurora Police Department at 720-450-2848.
