AURORA, Colo. — A man in Aurora is in the hospital with serious injuries after being shot at from a car in the early hours of Saturday morning, police said.
Aurora Police said officers responded to the area of 1208 Dallas St. at around 1:45 a.m. Saturday on reports of shots fired. Shortly after, a nearby hospital told police that a man had arrived at the emergency room with a gunshot wound, the department said.
The man reported that he was shot at by someone inside a silver sedan as he was walking. A spokesperson for the department said his injuries are serious, but that he's expected to survive.
People in a separate car drove up to officers and said their vehicle was also shot, but no one was injured. The spokesperson said police believe the two shootings are connected.
No suspects have been arrested, and police were not able to share any additional details about the silver sedan.
