AURORA, Colo. — Aurora Police said they arrested two suspects Thursday morning after robberies at a gas station and a convenience store and that the suspects have been involved in robberies across the Denver metro area.
One of the suspects is a 22-year-old man and the other is a juvenile, Aurora Police said.
Officers responded to a report of a robbery just before 6 a.m. at a gas station near South Peoria Street and East Cornell Avenue. A few minutes later, another call came in of a robbery at a convenience store about a half-mile away, near South Parker Road and Cornell, police said in a news release.
Officers pursued the suspects from the second robbery. They used a pit maneuver and stopped the vehicle near East Florida Avenue and Sable Boulevard, about three and a half miles away.
One suspect was arrested at the scene, while the other ran. The second suspect was later found an arrested, police said.
No one was injured in the robberies or pursuit, police said.
Both suspects, who had weapons, have been involved in "numerous" robberies across the Denver metro area, Aurora Police said. It wasn't clear how many robberies they are suspected of or where those robberies occurred.
