AURORA, Colo. — A 13-year-old boy was arrested Sunday night on suspicion of stabbing his stepfather after an argument between the boy's mother and stepfather, according to the Aurora Police Department.
Aurora Police officers responded about 9 p.m. Sunday to a report of a stabbing at an apartment complex in the 16000-block of East Easter Circle. The officers found a 40-year-old man who had multiple stab wounds lying in an entryway, according to a news release.
The man was taken to a hospital, where he died of his injuries. The Arapahoe County Coroner's Office on Monday identified the man as Dominic Ramon Robinson.
An Aurora Police spokesman said that the stabbing escalated from an argument between the teen's mother and stepfather.
The 13-year-old was being held on suspicion of second-degree murder. Police did not identify him due to his age.
The investigation is still active and ongoing.
