Coroner identifies man killed in Aurora hit-and-run crash

Police are looking for a mid-90s Pontiac Grand Am that is missing a front license plate and has damage to its passenger side.

AURORA, Colo. — Aurora Police are looking for the suspect in a deadly hit-and-run that occurred Saturday morning.

Around 9:39 a.m., police said officers responded to a call for an auto-pedestrian crash at East Hampden Avenue and South Uravan Street where they located the victim.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he died shortly after arriving.  He's been identified as 71-year-old Terzyan Vagarshak Ardzivovich

Police said on Saturday afternoon they were searching for a mid-90s Pontiac Grand Am sedan. The car is missing its front license plate and has damage to the passenger side including missing its passenger-side mirror. 

The vehicle was last seen going east on Hampden Avenue toward Tower Road.

The eastbound lanes of Hampden were closed while police investigated.
