AURORA, Colo. — A young man was shot and killed early Sunday morning, Aurora Police (APD) said.
Police said a 20-year-old man drove himself to a hospital after being shot in the 1700 block of Boston Street at 3:30 a.m. Sunday. He later died from his injuries.
The Adams County coroner's office identified him as Kimani Ahmean Fironate Young-Ike.
He appeared to be targeted in the shooting, according to APD.
A suspect or suspects have not yet been identified, but police said they do not believe there is any threat to the general public.
The victim's identity will be released by the Adams County Coroner's Office after his family is notified.
