Arrests made in separate Adams County homicides

The Adams County Sheriff's Office says both investigations are ongoing, but detectives stress there are no other suspects sought and there is no threat to the public.

Two people face murder charges after separate, unrelated homicides in Adams County on Saturday.

The first homicide happened just after 2 a.m. at 7048 Lipan Street. One suspect was taken into custody and jailed on second-degree murder.

The second homicide happened that afternoon at 4:24 p.m. at 7530 Broadway Street. One person is in custody for first-degree murder.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office says both investigations are ongoing, but detectives stress there are no other suspects sought and there is no threat to the public.
