A man now faces a murder charge for allegedly beating a 61-year-old to death in the parking lot of an Aurora U-Haul business over the weekend.
Aurora police officers responded to a report of an unresponsive male in the area of S. Havana St. and E. Colorado Ave. on Saturday around 6:30 a.m.
The man, now identified as George Craig Pappas, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Corderio Lark, 31, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
An autopsy revealed Pappas died of blunt force head injuries.
