$50k reward offered in armed robbery of letter carrier

The robbery occurred on Jan. 28 near E. 19th Ave. and Kearney St. in Denver.

DENVER — The United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspect(s) involved in the robbery of a letter carrier in Denver.

According to USPIS, the incident happened at approximately 3:09 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023. It took place at the intersection of Kearney St. & E. 19th Ave in Denver.

The robbery suspect was then seen fleeing eastbound on E. 19th Ave. in a silver Honda sedan.

Anyone who sees him should not try to apprehend him, USPIS said.

If you have any information about the robbery, call USPIS at 877-876-2455 and say "Law Enforcement." The case number is 3959685. USPIS says all information will be kept confidential.

Last week, USPIS said they were looking for a suspect in a similar robbery in Aurora that happened in February. A $50,000 reward was also offered in that case.
