ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. — Investigators are looking for a gunman who shot two men Sunday night outside of an Arapahoe County liquor store. One of the men, 29-year-old Diego Jesus Lopez Manrrique, died.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded about 7 p.m. to a report of shots fired at a liquor store at 2280 S. Quebec St. That's near the intersection of East Iliff Avenue.
The victims were rushed to hospitals, the sheriff's office said. Manrrique was pronounced dead after arriving. The Sheriff's Office did not release condition information about the other victim.
A description of the suspect was not immediately released.
The sheriff's office said anyone with information about the shooting can call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tips can also be submitted online at metrodenvercrimestoppers.com.
Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation.
From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
