2 killed in shooting in 7-Eleven parking lot

Commerce City Police said the shooting happened in the parking lot of the store located near the intersection of East 104th Avenue and Hwy. 85 in Henderson.

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — A second person is dead following a shooting in a 7-Eleven parking lot last Friday.

Late Monday morning, the Commerce City Police Department posted an update on the social media platform X that a female victim had passed away.

Commerce City Police said officers responded around 8 p.m. to the parking lot of the store located near the intersection of East 104th Avenue and Hwy. 85 in Henderson.

They found a man and a woman, later identified as Stephanie Yarelly Estrada, 30, and Luis Morales Jr., 25, with critical injuries. Police later confirmed the victims were injured in a shooting. Police said Saturday night that Morales had died.

Police were seeking information on the person and the black Dodge Ram with no license plates in the photos below. Investigators are not looking for the other car shown in the photos.

Police said that the person of interest was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound Sunday morning.
