KUSA — Police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting in downtown Denver that injured three people over the weekend.
Two men and a woman were wounded in the shooting that took place around 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of Market Street, Denver police said in a Tweet.
Around noon on Monday, police announced that they had arrested 35-year-old Armando Durete. He faces charges of attempted first degree murder with extreme indifference and first degree assault.
Police are not releasing a photo of Durete because they're currently interviewing witnesses.
This shooting comes less than one week after a stabbing a half-mile away that injured one woman. A man was taken into custody in connection to that incident shortly after it happened.
