The lockout at South Routt Elementary School in Yampa has been lifted after three suspects were taken into custody, the Steamboat Pilot reports.
Aurora Police say the three suspects were involved in an armed carjacking Thursday at a Home Depot in Aurora.
The school, which is located at 448 Main St., had been on lockout since 9:10 a.m. while police investigated an incident of County Road 7.
A law enforcement vehicle was parked outside the school during the investigation.
Soroco Middle and Soroco High schools were not affected by the situation.
