The Littleton Police Department is searching for two men who they allege stole 21 handguns from a pawn shop near downtown Littleton Wednesday afternoon.
The robbery at Pawn Bank at 1360 W. Littleton Boulevard was reported just after 1:15 p.m., according to a news release from Littleton police.
Police said two armed men walked into the store and confronted the employees, before breaking into a display case and stealing the guns.
They then took off in a small hatchback car – possibly a Chevrolet Aveo – and were last seen driving toward South Santa Fe Drive on West Littleton Boulevard, police said.
The suspects were described as white or Hispanic men who were in their late teens to early 20s. At the time of the robbery, one of the suspects was dressed in all black, while the other was wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts and black athletic shoes.
Both suspects were wearing red bandanas, according to police.
There is no description of the third suspect driving the getaway car.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives as well as the National Shooting Sports Foundation is now offering a $10,000 reward for information related to the robbery. Anyone with information about this crime can call the ATF at 1-888-ATF-GUNS.
