AURORA, Colo. — Police are investigating a shooting in Aurora that left one woman dead.
Officers were called out around 7 p.m. Thursday to a report of a shooting in the 10700 block of East Exposition Avenue. According to the Aurora Police Department, a 911 caller said she overheard an argument followed by gunshots while she was on the phone with her sister.
Police said officers found a woman with a gunshot wound inside the residence — she later died at the scene.
No arrests have been made, and the suspected shooter has not been identified, police said. CSI and Major Crime Homicide Unit detectives are responding at the scene.

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation.
From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
