Corey Rose’s annual benefit concert is Saturday

Proceeds from the 8th annual event go to Make-A-Wish Colorado and the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Foundation.

KUSA - 9NEWS Morning Anchor Corey Rose’s 8th Annual Wishes and Heroes Benefit Concert is back on June 23, and this time she’s taking over the entire block of Glenarm from 15th to 16th.

Doors open at 5 p.m. The show starts at 6 p.m.

Corey started the concert fundraiser in honor of her father who passed away in 2010 from leukemia. He was a firefighter in Los Angeles, California for 32 years.

The fun includes a big block party, three bands, dancing, yard games, beers from Breckenridge Brewery and burgers from Hard Rock Cafe.

All of the proceeds go to Make-A-Wish Colorado and the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Foundation.
