HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. — Vitalant is partnering with UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital to hold a blood drive in support of STEM School Highlands Ranch, first responders and the community.
Vitalant, formerly Bonfils Blood Center, will hold the Everyday Heroes blood drive, on Wednesday, May 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Northridge Rec Center in Highlands Ranch (8800 S. Broadway).
Appointments are recommended by calling 303-363-2300 or visiting Vitalant.org.
Vitalant blood donors support patients at more than 100 hospitals across Colorado every day. It takes 24 to 36 hours to type, test, prepare and ship blood once it’s donated meaning blood already on hospital shelves is most vital to helping patients when the need arises, according to Vitalant.
