LITTLETON, Colo. — Donations totaling $51,000 were raised at the 9th annual Corey Rose Wishes and Heroes Benefit Concert held Saturday, June 22 at Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton.
9NEWS morning anchor Corey Rose started the concert fundraiser in honor of her father who passed away in 2010 from leukemia. He was a firefighter in Los Angeles, California for 32 years.
Proceeds from the event benefit Make-A-Wish Colorado and the Colorado Professional Firefighters Association.
This year's event featured a silent auction with items donated by local merchants, food and beverages and live music from 9's A Pair (composed of Colorado firefighters) and Phat Daddy.
The after-party continued inside Breckenridge Brewery at 7 p.m. with The Chris Dismuke Band.
If you were unable to attend the concert, donations can be made at this link.
