Rents in the West Highland neighborhood in Denver increased the most in 2017, according to a new report.
According to San Francisco-based apartment finding firm Zumper, rents in the northwest Denver neighborhood increased 19.23 percent last year, rising to $1,550 for a one-bedroom rental.
Other Denver neighborhoods with double-digit rent growths included: Cole (up 18.72 percent), Barnum West (up 15 percent), West Colfax (up 12.31 percent), Washington Virginia Vale (up 10.81 percent), Lowry Field (up 10.77 percent), Skyland (up 10.55 percent) and Country Club (up 10 percent).
Denver neighborhoods with the biggest decreases in rent last year, according to Zumper, were: Berkeley (down 20 percent), Whittier (down 16.03 percent) and Dayton Triangle (down 12.5 percent).
