The luckiest lottery stores in Colorado

 COLORADO - If you're looking to find a little luck when purchasing your ticket for the massive Powerball drawing Wednesday, why not a try a store that has sold winning tickets before.

COLORADO - If you're looking to find a little luck when purchasing your ticket for the massive Powerball drawing Wednesday, why not a try a store that has sold winning tickets before.

The Colorado Lottery has a list of retailers that have sold game-winning tickets and how much has been won at each location. Theyinclude any winning of at least one thousand dollars.

In Colorado, the top two Powerball locations have only had one winner each. But those tickets have won significantly more that any others.

The third place store has had four winners of at least one thousand dollars.

King Soopers locations make up four of the top ten. The rest of the spots are comprised of different gas stations and a Safeway store. 

Here's a look at the top 10 Colorado Powerball locations based on the total amount won from each:

  1. Kum & Go 120 E 26th St, Rifle Total won: $90,000,000
  2. Westminster (does not specify store) Total won: $20,000,000
  3. King Soopers 4503 John F. Kennedy Pkwy, Fort Collins Total won: $2,250,000
  4. Diamond Shamrock 1801 Main St, Colorado Springs Total won: $2,080,000
  5. King Soopers 8673 S Quebec St, Highlands Ranch Total won: $2,020,000
  6. King Soopers 12167 Sheridan Blvd, Broomfield Total won: $2,020,000
  7. Safeway 560 Corona St, Denver Total won: $2,010,000
  8. Loaf N' Jug 14 W Spaulding Ave, Pueblo West Total won: $2,010,000
  9. 7-Eleven 7725 Fountain Mesa Rd, Fountain Total won: $2,010,000
  10. King Soopers, 6000 Holly St, Greenwood Village Total won: $2,000,000
