DENVER — A historic home has come onto the market for the first time 38 years in one of Denver's most prominent neighborhoods.
The 7,405-square-foot residence at 1640 E. 3rd Ave. in Denver's Country Club neighborhood was listed on Jan. 26 for $4.5 million.
The six-bedroom, six-bathroom home was built in 1917. It was designed by Denver architect Maurice B. Biscoe.
The Country Club home features a large dining room, an expansive master suite that combined multiple bedrooms to achieve its sprawling design, and an office ideal for modern work-from-home setups.
Outside, there are multiple terraces and outdoor living spaces on the 0.3-acre lot.
"It's about as perfectly located in the Denver Country Club as it gets," listing agent Ian Wolfe told Denver Business Journal. "It's one of the few homes left that are on those prominent corner sites...that really hasn't been extensively renovated."
