REI opens new Colorado location

LOVELAND, Colo. — Outdoor retail giant REI Co-op has officially opened its newest Colorado location.

The new location, which opened at 9 a.m. Friday, is located at the Centerra Marketplace near Interstate 25 and US 34 in Loveland. 

The 23,000-square-foot store includes a bike shop where cyclists can get their equipment tuned or repaired and a seasonal ski and snowboard shop offering waxing, mounting and tune-ups. 

To celebrate the grand opening, REI is hosting an outdoor social with live music from 1 - 5 p.m. each day this weekend. They will also have giveaways each morning, while supplies last.

This is REI's tenth Colorado location. The other stores are located in Fort Collins, Boulder, Denver, Lakewood, Greenwood Village, Dillon, Glenwood Springs, Grand Junction and Colorado Springs.

REI is a specialty outdoor retailer, headquartered near Seattle.
