Zayo Group opens new data center in downtown Denver

KUSA - zColo, Zayo Group Holding's colocation business, opened a new, 19,000 square-foot data center in downtown Denver Thursday.

The Boulder-based provider of bandwidth infrastructure's new facility, located at 1500 Champa St., will provide customers with interconnectivity options and the ability to access Zayo's (NYSE: ZAYO) fiber-optic network.

Zayo in January acquired Latisys Holdings LLC, a Greenwood Village-based data center company, for $675 million, which zColo president Stephanie Copeland said has allowed Zayo to expand throughout metro Denver.
