Want to buy a genuine 23,000-square-foot castle with 21 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms in Redstone?
You could be the next owner of the historic "Redstone Castle," which will be auctioned off on Oct. 7.
The castle was originally listed for $7.5 million last year, but the auctioneers said that the highest bid over $2 million will be accepted at the auction on Oct. 7.
The castle was built at the turn of the 20th century by John Cleveland Osgood, who founded the community of Redstone.
"The property has excellent potential as a fine restaurant, sporting club, educational or rehabilitation center, or as a wedding and special events venue. Of course, someone can always use the property as his own private castle," said Aaron Carmody, who's handling the auction for Platinum Luxury Auctions, in a statement.
