MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota-based Target will soon stock its liquor store shelves with seven new beverage brands, all of which are headed by women and/or people of color.

According to its website, Diverse Powered Brands, a digital catalog featuring diverse suppliers across the beverage industry, helped facilitate the deal. The company said out of 13 businesses that presented their brands at Target Headquarters on Diverse Powered Brands Pitch Day last June, seven were chosen.

They include:

“We are so thrilled to officially announce the seven diverse brands that were discovered by Target in the Diverse Powered Brands catalog and chosen for placement in stores across the United States,” said Deborah Brenner, founder and CEO of Diverse Powered Brands, in a statement.

The B2B business, which itself is woman-founded, -owned and -led, said the new selections are scheduled to rollout on the retailer's shelves this year.
