DENVER — A cannabis company that was shutting down 16 Colorado shops and a large Denver grow house now plans to stay open and rehire about 350 people locally after landing a $10 million investment.

Los Angeles-based Eaze Inc., the reformed parent company of 16 Green Dragon cannabis dispensaries across the Denver metro area and state, received a Series B investment round led by investor Jim Clark, said Cory Azzalino, CEO of Eaze Inc.

“We are shutting down Dec. 31 and reopening as a new company Jan. 1,” he said. “To customers, everything should seem the same.”

Eaze will use its new funding to bolster its supply chain and keep a total of 70 locations operating in California, Florida, Michigan and Colorado, the company said. The new Eaze Inc. will operate 57 marijuana stores, 11 delivery hubs and two cannabis production facilities.
