Brewery opens business space during day to deal with a down-turning economy

FlyteCo Brewing off 38th Avenue and Tennyson offers a $200 monthly membership that offers access to daytime co-working space and daily deals on beer.

DENVER — A brewery off 38th Avenue and Tennyson Street in northwest Denver offers a special kind of local membership and it pairs beer at night with business during the day.

FlyteCo Brewing announced the addition of a daytime co-working space to its 38th Avenue and Tennyson Street location called FlyteCoworking, which will be open through the work week. The special membership allows people to arrive at the brewery as early as 7:30 a.m.

The early morning entry won't give anyone access to booze. Instead, the $200 monthly membership offers members extended hours to grab a cup of coffee, nonalcoholic beverages, nitro cold brew, power hook-ups and fast internet. Members also receive discounts on FlyteCo drinks and products.

The brewery's founders said they learned from a business model that runs out of their FlyteCo Tower's Central Park location – where they have marketed the space for more than just a brewery and rent it out as an events space.

"We've really just become accustomed to this ever-changing landscape and always having a willingness to adapt to whatever's next. And I see this is no different," said Morgan O'Sullivan, FlyteCo Brewing's owner. "This is just a continued part of our story. And honestly, our will continue to survive regardless of what the world or the marketplace throws at us."

FlyteCoworking launches Monday with a co-working space from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays and from 7:30 to 11 a.m. on Fridays. When co-working ends, the brewery opens to the general public.
