Sling TV lands Parks & Rec stars Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally for racy campaign

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL — Dish Network Corp.’s Sling TV has launched a new marketing campaign called “Meet the Slingers,” that features Parks & Rec stars and married couple Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally.

Sling introduced its “We are Slingers” campaign earlier this year. The first TV spot featured one couple inviting another to try “slinging,” with one man mistakenly thinking “swinging,” prompting him to remove his shirt.

Offerman and Mullally’s ad plays off the same double entendre, showing them in a restaurant asking another couple if they want to “Sling.”

“The freedom is exhilarating,” Offerman says after his wife asks a couple if they want to “Sling” with them. “Folks, we have a big couch that can fit all four of us.”
