DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL — Saint Anthony Hospital has lost its CEO to a health-care system in Maine.
Jeff Brickman, who took over operations of the Lakewood hospital in 2011, will become president and CEO of Central Maine Healthcare. The system operates three hospitals in central, western and mid-coast Maine, and supports both a large physician organization and a heart and vascular institute.
In addition to running Saint Anthony — the sixth-largest hospital in the Denver area in terms of its number of employees — Brickman served as president of the Mountains and North Denver operating group for parent organization Centura Health. In that role, he oversaw eight hospitals for Colorado’s largest health system.
“Jeff’s extensive experience in complex health-care environments and his commitment to quality and patient satisfaction compliments the goals of our organization,” said Deborah Dunlap Avasthi, Central Maine Healthcare board chairwoman, in a statement.
