Noodles & Co. president quits to run hot dog chain

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Noodles & Co. present and COO Keith Kinsey is quitting July 1 to take over another fast-food restaurant chain.

The Broomfield restaurant company (NASDAQ: NDLS) said Kinsey has worked for the company for the past 10 years and has served as president since 2012.

Kinsey will become CEO of Portillo's Hot Dogs of suburban Chicago.

"During the last decade, I am proud of the numerous personal and professional achievements as we have built Noodles & Company into a national brand, Kinsey said in a statement.

In Friday's Denver Business Journal, Noodles was ranked the sixth-largest Colorado company in terms of franchised company units, with 439.
