DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - John Fox, the co-founder and former CEO of MarkWest Energy Partners, says he's adamantly against the Denver company's acquisition by MPLX.
Fox, who owns 1.3 million shares of MarkWest (NYSE: MWE), said the proposed $15.8 billion acquisition by the Ohio gas company owned by Marathon Petroleum Corp. wasn't a good idea and MarkWest would be better off as a standalone company.
