The Aspen Grove shopping center on South Santa Fe Drive in Littleton has been sold to a California company for $82 million.
The 268,000-square-foot open-air retail complex, on 15.3 acres at 7301 S. Santa Fe Drive (see map below), is home to Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, Ted's Montana Grill, an Apple store and an outlet of the Tattered Cover among about 50 total stores and restaurants.
According to Arapahoe County records, a unit of the real estate investment trust DDR Corp. (NYSE: DDR) sold Aspen Grove to an affiliate of Solana Beach, California-based Gerrity Group. The sale was recorded Oct. 27.
Ohio-based DDR also had managed the property. DDR owns University Hills in Denver and the Centennial Promenade retail complex in Centennial.
