Liberty Media companies shuffle executives

Liberty Media and its sister companies shuffled executives Thursday, naming a senior vice president as chief financial officer of the businesses.

Liberty Media and its sister companies shuffled executives Thursday, naming a senior vice president as chief financial officer of the businesses.

Mark Carleton, who’s held several executive positions at Liberty companies, moves into the CFO role at Liberty Media Corp. (Nasdaq: LMCA) and two sister companies, Liberty Interactive (Nasdaq: LMCA), owner of ecommerce businesses, primarily QVC Inc. home shopping business and Zulily, an online retailer; and Liberty Broadband (Nasdaq: LBRDA), the largest shareholder in Charter Communications, the second-biggest U.S. cable TV company.

Carleton had most recently been chief development officer at the three Douglas County-based Liberty companies.
