DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - HomeAdvisor plans to move its headquarters to downtown Denver, raising its local profile and making it easier to recruit millennial tech workers.

The Golden-based company is looking for a new home in the next year or two for executives and 250-300 employees, mostly the HomeAdvisor 's online technology operation, said CEO Chris Terrill.

He's been eying available sites in lower downtown and the River North neighborhoods of Denver in search of space fitting a fast-growing technology brand.

"We're the biggest consumer-facing technology brand in Colorado, but a lot of people aren't aware," he said. "Having our name on one of the buildings downtown would raise our profile."
