LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Google Fiber, the high-speed internet infrastructure arm of Google, unveiled its new Colorado headquarters in Lakewood's Belmar Plaza last week.

The Alphabet-owned company (Nasdaq: GOOGL), which goes by GFiber, opened the 13,000-square-foot office at 439 Upham St. and 7244 W. Bonfils Lane on Monday. GFiber chose Lakewood because of its strong relationships with the economic development, public works and leadership staff, the company said in a press release.
