A unit of the Fox Sports cable TV channel is buying a Denver company that markets sports-team and stadium sponsorships.
Denver’s Impression Sports & Entertainment is becoming part of Home Team Sports (HTS), an advertising sales business of Fox Sports. Terms were not disclosed.
Impression Sports is the business that got financial company Transamerica Corp. to be jersey sponsor of the Colorado Rapids soccer teams. It also sold outdoor gear retailer Camping World on putting its name on an Orlando, Florida football stadium and on the college football season’s opening game.
The company counts Kroenke Sports and Entertainment, owner of the Denver Nuggets basketball and Colorado Avalanche hockey teams, as clients.
