DENVER — Austin, Texas-based athleisure outfitter Outdoor Voices Inc. will be closing all of its stores on March 17, a Texas store employee confirmed.
The company opened a 2,000-square-foot location at 2609 Walnut St. in Denver's River North Art District in 2021, joining numerous other activewear brands in the area. Nearby businesses in Denver include Arc'teryx and Patagonia.
Customers flocked to the retailer's South Congress store in Austin on March 13, where items were discounted by 50%. A report by The New York Times points to executive turnover and a declining valuation in recent years.
