Frank L. Robinson, co-founder of the Otten Johnson Robinson Neff+Ragonetti law firm, died Nov. 27. He was 73.
Robinson graduated from the University of Denver College of Law in 1969 and began his career with Davis, Graham & Stubbs, and then co-founded the Otten Johnson firm, one of the region's foremost real estate and land use law firms, in 1985. His practice covered all aspects of real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, financing and development.
Over the years he was frequently singled out for honors in peer review legal rankings as among the best lawyers in the nation specializing in real estate law. In 2007, the DU Sturm College of Law selected Robinson as an outstanding alumnus.
"Frank Robinson was known, and will always be remembered, for his prodigious intellect and legal abilities, for his great personal warmth, and for his love of the law firm he helped create and all of its people. We will miss him greatly," a statement by the law firm said.
