DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL — Highlands Ranch-based Schomp Automotive Group has acquired Subaru, Hyundai and Mazda franchises from the Shortline Auto Group based in Aurora.
The acquisition makes it the largest privately-held, family-owned automotive group in the state, a news release said.
“This is the next major milestone in the life and legacy of the Schomp Automotive Group, increasing our brand portfolio by 75% and welcoming more than 180 new teammates,” Aaron Wallace, the fourth generation owner of the 77-year old Schomp Automotive Group, said in the news release.
Schomp Automotive also includes Honda, BMW and MINI franchises as well as a full-service Allstate Insurance agency at the company headquarters in Highlands Ranch and Mercedes-Benz and Sprinter of Farmington in Utah.
