Colorado will get its first Blo Blow Dry Bar, a national franchise chain with about 100 locations across the U.S., in mid-January.
Blo Blow Dry Bar specializes in hair styling, make-up, blowouts and other beauty services, typically for special occasions like weddings, proms and date nights.
A blow-dry bar typically will wash and blow-dry a customer's hair without offering full salon services.
The company's first Colorado location will be located in a 978-square-foot space at 1600 Pearl St., Suite 106, in Boulder. It will include 10 stations — two for makeup and eight for hairstyling.
“Our business model of wash, blow and go is a perfect fit for this market based on the demographic of active and busy individuals," said Christopher Leno, the franchiser who opened the Colorado location.
