DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - A 22-story downtown Denver mixed-use office tower that will be occupied in part by law firm Polsinelli PC will break ground in downtown Denver next Wednesday.
Polsinelli, based in Kansas City, Missouri, will be the anchor tenant at the tower, located at 1401 Lawrence St., taking up about 90,000 square feet. The 306,000-square-foot building will also include 8,000 square feet of retail space, John MacNeil, president and partner at First Gulf, the project's developer, said in an interview.
Polsinelli currently has an office at 1515 Wynkoop St. in LoDo, but it will outgrow that space in the next two or three years, said Gene Commander, Denver office managing shareholder for Polsinelli.
The firm opened its Denver office with two employees in the late 1990s, Commander said, but now it employs 60 attorneys and another 40 office employees.
Polsinelli is one of the 100 largest law firms in the country based on the number of partners, with more than 740 attorneys, according to Law360 news magazine.
