That's love: Eagle covered in snow protects eggs

You can barely see the head of a bald eagle, with snow reaching past its neck, protecting eggs in the storm.
According to WTOP, "The bald eagle was stoic. Occasionally, as the eagle's beak became covered, it moved its head for room. But other than that, the national bird remained steadfast [in the snow]"

The Pennsylvania Game Commission is offering a Bald Eagle live stream, allowing viewers to watch a bald eagle family in Hanover, Pa.

On Friday, the conditions were a bit better so you can fully make out one of the birds. It is unclear whether Liberty or Freedom is on duty to protect the eggs.

But don't worry about the eagles in the cold weather. According to the PA Game Commission, they manage by fluffing feather for insulation, eating food and keeping eggs warm.
