DENVER — Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey is ready to release a limited batch of whiskey.
Stranahan’s said it will release "Snowflake Batch #26" at its Denver distillery on Saturday.
Stranahan’s said Snowflake festivities will begin Friday with live music, a whiskey sensory analysis, live ice sculpting, food, beverages, whiskey snowcones, s’mores, and whiskey.
Fans can camp out to secure a spot in line for a bottle of Snowflake may begin lining up for spot at 9 a.m. Thursday at 200 S. Kalamath St.
The exact time of Saturday's Snowflake Batch #26 release is not publicly shared.
Since 2011, the Stranahan’s has released a limited-edition bottling of Snowflake, one of the rarest releases in the American whiskey industry.
The Snowflake release has developed a cult following with thousands of loyal fans braving the cold for up to 72 hours to get their hands on a bottle. Snowflake bottles traditionally sell out within one day.
"Snowflake is an annual winter bottle release that showcases an array of rare and worldly cask finishes harmonized in one bottle of American Single Malt," the distillery said in a statement. "As in nature, no two Snowflakes are alike, and each year features an entirely new iteration."
